It is with a heavy heart that we announce the impending departure of our leadership team, Ms Ng Bee Sun and Mr Ismail Abdul Samat. In July 2017, Ms Bee Sun joined the pioneer team with Mr Ismail and worked on establishing SCIA as an international school of excellent standing. Being flexible and equipped with the right skillsets, Ms Bee Sun helmed the Campus Ops, appointed Deputy Principal of Primary School and then as Principal of Senior High School, at different times.  She also made contributions in the area of service learning.  Ms Bee Sun’s latest appointment at SCIA is as Principal, Enrichment & Professional Learning.

Mr Ismail joined SCIA via SIM Overseas Venture project in May 2017.  Together with the pioneer team, he set up the curriculum, education framework, and branding concepts, just to name a few. He has been a highly valued and dedicated member of the Core Pioneer Team of SCIA. He has played a pivotal role in kick-starting SCIA. Under his leadership, the K12 school has developed a strong and rigorous curriculum that serves to deliver what SCIA had promised to do – a holistic education that develops students into well-rounded individuals, in a forward-looking international school anchored in Asian values.  He has also built a dedicated team of teacher leaders who have been instrumental in the delivery of our quality education.

Ms Bee Sun and Mr Ismail will move back to Singapore. SCIA acknowledges their contributions and wishes them all the best in their future endeavours in the Pursuit of Endless Possibilities! ​
